So we all know that the term "Alpha" refers directly to the male gender. Anyone who has been exposed to Twilight can attest to this. Isn't it funny that in literature and movies that the term alpha is used to define a male leader who takes care of everything. Examples of this could be the strong male character that picks up "the girl" and carries her into the sunset, the bull fighters in spain, that one guy that goes to your gym that always has to prove a point when lifting weights or even that one guy that everyone that you know tries to jump to see if they are able to beat him. Everything that I could think of that is associated with alpha represents positive reflections such as strenght, leadership, authority and protection. On researching this further I find out that alpha in greek means the number 1 officially. However, this term is almost never associated with women and so I feel like this would nullify that exclusive term. Incidentally, the term alpha level within sports testing statistics means the level of error within the testing subject or the test. Hmm so the test of the strenght, protection and all that jazz measures the error or is it the alpha in general that is the error entirely?
Is this standard our downfall. Is our protection our weakness?.. well not ours but thier weakness.
In the next argument that i get in with a guy should I say that he is alpha?
I feel like that is sending mixed messages.
boys, why does your measure of standard seem so tragic?
